Growing up in South Florida, I was very fortunate to have the best of both worlds.The Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Everglades to the west. It was awesome for someone who loved the outdoors, fishing and boating  were just a part of life.

It all began for me in 1980 when I met my wife, Mary. We married and had three children, Tracy, John, and Amanda , who are involved in the family business also. The name Five Lakes 80 was created with all of us in mind.. our last name is Lake and it began in 1980!

Working in the Miami printing industry for 25 years provided me with a wealth of experience in color and design. We printed menus for some of the best restaurants in Miami, along with brochures and marketing materials. Being lovers of animals and nature, we care a lot about the environment and climate change, as it affects all of us. Any personal care products we offer are cruelty free, and not tested on animals. You might see some kitchen and cooking things from time to time, because our love of cooking matches our love of nature.
